Reiki is Great for Keeping You Well

If you’re feeling great, you’ll want to make sure you continue to feel that way.

Many people use Reiki as a monthly “tonic” – a way of topping up their “well-being” and particularly from autumn to spring to keep up the body’s resistance to infections and other stresses.

A regular Reiki treatment is like an hour spent with your best friend. It’s an opportunity to relax and recharge your batteries so that you leave feeling refreshed and ready to face the coming weeks.

AND

No matter how well we usually are, there are times when we feel we’re running out of energy……

There are ever increasing demands on all of us these days. Life sometimes seems to be more demanding and more stressful..and it takes it out of us – physically, mentally and emotionally – no matter how healthy we are and how energetic we usually feel.

Often, we can’t take regular breaks or holidays and so we go on draining our energy reserves until we feel we’re running on vapor.

That’s how we feel when our minds and bodies are out of balance and need relaxation, time to recover and to revitalise.

Reiki can help us and Reiki is becoming as well known in New Zealand as it is in the UK, Europe and the US.

It’s not a new fad. Reiki has been around for a long time but it only became easily available in the late 1940s.

Many New Zealanders are feeling the benefits of having Reiki treatments. Once people experience the benefits if Reiki, many go on to train in Reiki so that they can give these wonderfully relaxing and re-vitalising treatments to themselves and to their family.

Reiki is a simple and effective support system and an effective tool for bringing well-being, reducing stress and the effects of stress and overwork which could lead to depression and illness if it goes on too long.

Reiki helps to bring the mind and body into a state of balance and relaxation.

Reiki is a non-invasive and natural complementary therapy. The client remains fully clothed and is covered with a blanket. The client can either lie down or sit comfortably.

A Reiki trained practitioner places their hands on a client. Reiki energy flows from the practitioner’s hands to the client. This additional energy revitalises and replenishes life force, re-balances the body’s energies and strengthens the body’s own ability to heal.

It’s worth discovering what Reiki could do for you. Finding an experienced Reiki Master Teacher can be your first step in regaining your sense of well-being.
